How to Use

For Greenware

Apply a small amount of Better Bond to one surface.
Press pieces together gently.
Allow to dry before firing.

For unFired to Fired

Rough up your fired piece only in the area of the join.
Add Better Bond to both the fired piece and the greenware piece.
Take a small amount of fresh clay, placing it between your 2 pieces and join.

For Fired to Fired

Rough up both pieces in the area of the join.
Add Better Bond to both pieces.
Take a small amount of fresh clay, placing it between your 2 pieces and join.

The Many Uses of Better Bond

Joins/bonds metal clay components in wet, dry and fired stages, interchangeably
Makes great paste
Makes syringe clay
Use when reconstituting powder clays. 1 drop per 5 grams
Use to coat clays before cutting on the Cricut
Use to finish off the inside of rings and the edges of greenware; with a healing sponge or smoothing tool
Holds embedded stones in place until they get to the kiln
Holds embedded bails and pieces in place with fresh clay until fired
